Export CapCut Projects to XML
CapCut Desktop has no native “Export to XML” button. DraftPorter solves this by reading your local project metadata and converting it directly into standard Final Cut Pro 7 XML.
How CapCut XML Conversion Works
Inside every CapCut Desktop project folder is a file named draft_content.json. This JSON document stores the entire timeline blueprint: video and audio tracks, segments, in-points, out-points, and volume settings.
DraftPorter reads this draft structure directly on your device, translates your cuts and timings into frame-accurate boundaries, and outputs a standard XML sequence ready for any major video editor.
