Where to Find Your CapCut Project Files

CapCut Desktop does not have a traditional “Save As” dialog. Here is exactly where CapCut stores your project files on macOS and Windows.

macOS Project Path

Open Finder, press Cmd+Shift+G (Go to Folder), and paste:

~/Movies/CapCut/User Data/Projects/com.lveditor.draft/

Each subfolder corresponds to one of your projects. Drag the entire project folder or select its draft_info.json (or draft_content.json).

Windows Project Path

Press Win+R, enter the following path, and press Enter:

%localappdata%\CapCut\User Data\Projects\com.lveditor.draft\

Drag the entire project folder or select its draft_content.json file.
